How long have you been with the Sacramento SPCA Board?
I’ve been a board member for almost seven months. 

And where do you live?
Folsom, CA

Tell us a little about your day, what do you do, what have you done?
I have over 20 years’ experience in association management.  I currently own my own company, RA Administrators, which works with professional nonprofit organizations who want to deliver valuable offerings and services to their membership.  

Are you currently participating in any other organizations or associations? 
Special Olympics Northern California – Regional Impact Council Member 
American Marketing Association, Sacramento Valley – Member and Former Board Member

Any past affiliations you would like to share?  
None. 

What unique talents and skills do you bring to the Sacramento SPCA Board? 
One skill that has been beneficial in working with my clients is board and committee governance.  

We would love to hear about your family, starting with your pets… 
We have a crazy 10 year-old chocolate lab who is an alum of the Sacramento SPCA.  We adopted him at nine months old and he is my running buddy and best travel companion. My husband Bill and I have three adult children who all live in the Sacramento area.

Finally, what excites you about being part of the Sacramento SPCA Board of Directors? 
I’ve watched over the past several years how much the Sacramento SPCA has accomplished.  I’m proud to be a part of an organization that offers a variety of services to the public for their pets.  These services seem to have a lasting impact on our community.  I’m looking forward to seeing what’s next for the Sacramento SPCA.
