Losing a beloved pet is something we will all face as animal lovers. Because we understand what it means when a cherished companion passes away, the Sacramento SPCA recently constructed a columbarium where your pet’s ashes can be interred and where you are welcome to visit for years to come.

This permanent resting place offers sectioned alcoves or niches that can hold the remains of up to four animals. Surrounded by a newly planted redwood grove, the SPCA’s pet columbarium is a peaceful, serene location where you can remember your four-legged friends and the lifetime of memories you shared. An individual space in a niche is a one-time cost of $350. To purchase the entire niche (four spaces) so that your animals can be laid to rest together, now and in the future, the price is $1,200 — a savings of $200. Discounts apply for seniors and Sacramento SPCA volunteers.
